Verified effect directory
Public Piano Rhythm Tiles products name four tile effects. Effects are tracked separately from tile skins and backgrounds because their product wording and equip location differ.

Find effects in the live shop
The Rainbow, Galaxy, and Fireworks product descriptions explicitly direct players to SHOP > TILE EFFECTS. Follow the current menu labels because capitalization and layout can change. A public product with no Robux price may be handled through that in-game shop.
Check exact name, preview, price or currency label, ownership, and active state. Never substitute an old price from a third-party list.
Equip one effect at a time
Select the effect and confirm the current active indicator. Test on an easy familiar song. If nothing changes, verify that you equipped an effect rather than a skin, remove a conflicting selection if the UI indicates only one slot, and rejoin once.
Do not repurchase or buy a bundle as the first troubleshooting step. Gather a non-sensitive screenshot of the item name and owned state.
Test readability
An effect can add motion near tiles, so compare it carefully in dense charts. Watch whether it covers upcoming information, blends with the background, or distracts from lane order. Remove it during personal-best attempts if clarity improves.
Use the same song, speed, device, skin, and background when comparing. If frame pacing changes, lower a graphics setting or remove the effect and retest one variable at a time.
Bat Swarm and Halloween overlap
Bat Swarm is named in Halloween Bundle, not in the smaller Halloween Pack description. The larger bundle also advertises the smaller pack, Pumpkin and Ghost tiles, Pumpkin Patch, and 5,000 coins.
If you own part of the bundle, read the live purchase dialog. No checked public description promises an overlap discount or compensation.
Effects are not boosts
No checked effect description promises coins, Journey XP, stars, score, accuracy, or timing forgiveness. Bat Swarm sits inside a bundle that also has coins, but that does not make the effect itself a currency boost.
Separate visual preferences from progression decisions. Use Rewards for boosts and Gamepasses for the full catalog.
Inventory fields
Record exact name, effect type, source, current cost label, owned state, active state, and evidence date. Leave rarity and trading value blank unless the live game publishes them. The checked sources do not establish cosmetic trading.
Pair effects with a high-contrast Tile Skin and calm Background when learning Fade or faster charts.
Compare effect intensity
Use an easy chart to learn when the animation appears, then a dense chart to see whether repeated effects overlap. Keep the skin and background fixed. If the effect makes the approach area hard to follow, remove it for focused practice and re-enable it for relaxed play.
The public records do not expose effect-duration or particle-count controls. If the live settings provide an intensity option, record its visible label and test each state separately rather than assuming Roblox graphics quality changes only that effect.
Diagnose performance changes
First repeat the same song without the effect. Then compare frame pacing, input response, and visual clarity. Close overlays and background apps before blaming the item. A difference on one device is a local observation, not proof that every player will see the same result.
Record the device, Roblox graphics setting, selected effect, skin, background, song, and speed. Retest after the device cools if heat or battery-saving behavior may be involved. This creates a reproducible comparison without turning one difficult run into a universal performance claim.
